This is the personal website of Senne Visser. The short version: it stores very little about you, uses no tracking, no ads and no cookies, and the only thing it sells is an extra ball in the games.
Who
Senne Visser, the Netherlands. Questions or requests: sennevisser@outlook.com.
What is stored, and for how long
- Guestbook: the name and note you pin. They are public on the board. New notes are checked for abuse by a local AI model that runs on my own home server (nothing is sent to an outside AI service), and by me. Kept until you ask me to remove them.
- Leaderboard: the name and score you save. Public; only the top 10 per game is kept. A name that's new on the board is checked for abuse the same way as guestbook notes.
- Visitor statistics: which pages and parts of the room are visited, which games are played, the referring site, country, browser, device type and screen size. On the simple version also where on the page people click and how far they scroll (a heatmap); never what you type. A purchase is counted with its amount. Collected with Umami, running on my own server, without cookies and without storing your IP address; it's only counted, never linked to you. If your browser sends Do Not Track, nothing is counted.
- Spam protection: when you post a note, save a score or buy an extra ball, a scrambled (salted hash) version of your IP address is kept for at most 24 hours to limit how often one visitor can post. The IP address itself is not stored.
- Purchases (extra ball / extra life): order number, game, amount, status and times, kept as the record of payments. Card details are handled by SumUp on their own page; I never see them. If you give an email address for a receipt, it is only used to send that receipt and is erased right after (at most one day later).
- In your own browser: your player name, personal bests, settings and any unused extra balls you bought are kept in your browser's local storage (not cookies). They never leave your browser, except your name when you save a score. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes them.
- Server logs: my hosting provider keeps standard access logs (IP address, time, page) for security and operations.
Other parties
- Hostinger hosts this site.
- SumUp handles the payment when you buy an extra ball, under their own privacy policy.
- jsDelivr delivers the code libraries the 3D room runs on (Preact and three.js), so it sees your IP address when the page loads.
- GitHub, only if you type
lsorcd githubin the room's terminal: your browser then asks GitHub for my public repositories.
Fonts are served from this site itself. There is no analytics or advertising of any kind.
Why
Everything above is needed to run the site, keep it free of spam, and handle a payment when you choose to make one (legitimate interest and your own request).
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete anything stored about you by mailing sennevisser@outlook.com. If you think I handle your data wrongly, you can complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
